Our Certifications
Every HomeStride technician is licensed, certified, and factory-trained. Here's what that means for you.
CAPS Certified
CAPS certification demonstrates specialized knowledge, training, and practical experience in making modifications to help people remain safely and comfortably in their homes as they age. HomeStride technicians complete rigorous coursework covering home assessment, product selection, and modification best practices.
NMEDA Member
NMEDA membership requires adherence to strict quality standards for adaptive vehicle equipment installation. Our NMEDA-certified technicians are qualified to install, service, and maintain mobility equipment that meets federal motor vehicle safety standards (FMVSS).
NJ HIC Licensed
All HomeStride residential installations are performed by NJ-licensed Home Improvement Contractors. This state license requires background checks, proof of insurance, and compliance with NJ consumer protection laws. Our HIC license number is available upon request.
NJ MVC Adaptive Compliant
HomeStride is authorized to install and certify adaptive driving equipment in compliance with NJ MVC requirements. We handle all required paperwork and certifications for hand controls, steering modifications, and pedal extensions — so drivers can update their license restrictions without the paperwork burden.
